Jan 30, 2012

This week's email was pretty short with some personal family things, but here's the gist of it.. Hey mom. Thank you for your emails. They were perfect for this week. Sorry i didn't get to write you yesterday but we switched our p-day to today so we could go to the temple. Kinda funny that that's what my email is about too ha Elder Lessie and i had both been longing for the blessings of the temple so we got permission and made it happen. Us and the spanish elders went up with a family we know. It was just one big huge tender mercy, kinda like it sounds like your trip was. I'm so glad yall got to do that and that you were able to get alot of family work done. I imagine quite often the angels around us helping us each day and i always imagine them being family. It's kinda an incentive to keep working and pushing because i don't want to disappoint my family. Especially the ones deceased who are helping me. I don't know what i did to be so blessed. The family we have, the experiences i've been blessed to have throughout my life. The family we were with knew the 1st counselor in the temple presidenc so after our session we got a personal tour of the manti temple. It is SO. Beautiful and original. But we got to go up the spiral staricases and see everything but the very top floor. All the sealing rooms and even the priesthood room. The priesthood room! That only even gets used once a year but we got to see it and walk around it. The spirit filling that place is breathtaking. such such a neat thing. My greatest desire all day has been to go to the temple with my family and my heart rejoices that we'll get to do that soon enough. I have to get going but we had threee grat baptisms this past week. I'll try to send pictures next week. We gotta go teach two quick lessona then leave for st. George for ZLC. I can't believe its already been a month! Time is flying. I love you all so so much. Thank you for being my family and being so righteous. There's nothing that could make me happier. Elder Spurlin
