March 21, 2011

This week has been really good. Elder Prater left on Tuesday and I went down to St. George to get my new companion. I love St. George. I really hope I get to serve there one day. I decided I'm gonna study photography, move down there and take pictures the rest of my life :) That place is beautiful. It was a fun trip. My new companions name is Elder Ireland. He's from Ontario Canada. ( I know, Elder Ireland from Canada ha. )  He's been out a total of 6 days now haha. He's awesome though. He's a hard worker and likes to be obedient so we get along really well. BUT, he's never hunted, fished or ate venison.. Needless to say that put a damper on our relationship :/ But then he described his love for football and everything was ok again ^_^ He's a great guy and is gonna be a great missionary. He makes fun of me for the way I talk though. For my accent and for things I say, like the other night. I said, "I got bit" and he totally made fun of me for it... What's wrong with that?? Haha Sorry mister Canadian. " Mother, I've been bitten."  Bahaha no thanks. I tease him right back. All the aboots and hoose (house) and ehs :p He's fun.
We get to go to the temple twice this week! I'm so dirn excited. I miss goin to the temple like no other. We have a mission temple day on wednesday, then Elder Harlan and I are going to the sealing of a family we reactivated on Saturday :) That's gonna be awesome. I can't wait.
Our area is doing pretty good. We currently have about 18 units we're teaching (untis, households, whatever you wanna call them.) We have 9 investigators with a baptism date and about 11 that attend sacrament. We're planning to put 3 more on date tonight so hopefully those work out alright. This is such an exciting work and It's so fulfilling and gratifying. But you know, even if it wasn't I would still be here. It's like Glenn said before I left, most people say a mission is the best two years of your life when really it's the best two years FOR your life.--
I love yall and I love my mission. Holler if there's anything I can do for anyone.
