From the Sirrine Family

Merry Christmas from the Sirrine family! We were fortunate enough to be able to have Elder Spurlin, Elder Harlan and Elder Mikelsen spend Christmas Eve with our family this year!! We had our traditional ham/twice baked potatoes for dinner along with cheese and chocolate fondue! This is a favorite of our family and we think the Elders enjoyed it as well!! (If they didn't enjoy it, they were very polite!!:) Our family loves to sing Christmas songs around the piano and this year was no different....although our selection of Christmas carols this year was quite interesting! Elder Mikelsen and Elder Harlan entertained us with their musical talents! We all loved it! (It was so good, it put Elder Spurlin to sleep on our couch!) We also open one gift on Christmas Eve and surprise....it's always pajama pants. The Elders all opened a gift that Santa had left for them and as you can see from the photo, they got matching pj's!! As Elder Harlan would say..."FANTASTIC"!!

We have had the opportunity to have Elder Spurlin and Elder Harlan in our home on multiple occasions and we just wanted to let you know that they are both great young men and are truly doing an amazing job at sharing the gospel with people in our area. We are so fortunate to have them. Elder Spurlin is a great leader and has such a strong testimony of the gospel. Mom...you should be so proud of him. We have a son who will be going on in mission in a few months and these young men are such great examples. We just wanted to let you know that your son is in good hands here in Monroe and we will be sad to see him leave but know that he will continue to do a great job for our Father in Heaven as he continues his mission.

We know the holidays were probably a little different not having your son at home, but we want to say "Thank You" for sharing him with our family!! He is always welcome in our home.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
The Sirrine Family
Jeff, Erica, Taylor, Neccia, Tanner and Makayla
